SG5 Wire-Actuated Encoder

Compact miniature wire-actuated encoder for capturing linear measuring distances. The device is robust and universally applicable thanks to its standard interfaces.

The simple operating principle guarantees high reliability: wire is wound onto the measuring drum, according to the linear movement, and then wound off and on. Measuring signals are provided by a potentiometer fixed to the drum. The integral spring guarantees a safe wire return movement.
