Define your requirements for the handwheel you need, and this guide will let you select a SIKO handwheel that meets your requirements.

Begin by clicking on a tab above.

Handwheels are usually combined with a position indicator.

The type of indicator you choose will limit the handwheels available.

There are 3 types of SIKO indicators.
Analog indicator

An Analog indicator shows position with a geared pointer (may also have a 1:1 pointer)

Analog+digital indicator

An Analog+digital indicator shows position with a geared pointer as well as a numeric (digital) readout

Measuring ring scale indicator

A Measuring ring scale is available ONLY for Handwheel RSO/HSO16

The bore diameter should be equal to or slightly larger than the diameter of the shaft or lead screw that the handwheel will be fixed onto.

a fixed ball handle will not move when used

a rotatable ball handle will spin when used, which allows the handwheel to be turned quickly and easily

a rotatable cylinder handle will spin when used, but has a different shape than the ball handle

a folding, rotatable handle will spin when used, and can be collapsed against the handwheel to save space
Maximum diameter is optional.

Select a maximum diameter only if the handwheel must fit in a small space.

Photo of a handwheel on a horizontal shaft

A horizontal shaft is the most common shaft type. The handwheel's face is perpendicular to the ground.

A vertical shaft can be accommodated by Handwheel HKF. The handwheel's face is parallel to the ground. It will be viewed by looking up or down at it.
