Frequently asked questions
How is the old DA09 different than the new DA09S?The housing on the DA09S is not as deep as the housing on the old DA09. To make the DA09S a physical match to the old DA09 we add an intermediate plate (ZP) to the DA09S
How do I know my number of counts per turn?Ideally the number of counts per turn matches the movement created with one complete turn of the threaded screw. So this number is based on the pitch of the threads. As an example, if the pitch of the threads if 4 per inch, one turn should indicate "000.25" on the counter.
Is the DA09S available with a hollow bore larger than 20mm?No. For applications requiring a bore larger than 20mm, the appropriate solution is the DA10. The DA10 is available with a bore up to 30mm.
